GYATM Alpha 2


Alpha 2. So many changes, so much work.

In this release, we've completely redone the tutorial/information system, introduced a new character, created a proper intro sequence, begun optimization for a "medium" rendering setting, fixed a lot of little bugs, and started setting up for internationalization. Zone 2 was also totally re-done

We also realized a lot of the in-jokes simply won't work with translation. Bummer.

The new soundtrack sounds pretty good, everyone already got a taste of that in the alpha trailer, but it's now properly in place.

Placeholder effects have been replaced with real effects. Dialog is still being written, but there's now an entire scaffolding for it. Really hoping to get that nailed down by the next alpha release, we'll see.

Also big news, we have sent off a load of assets and character studies to our cover artist, who will be doing the box/store artwork for us! We are hoping to see something great from her in a month or so.
